Giclée printing uses archival pigment inks and museum-grade fine art papers to produce highly detailed, colour-accurate prints with long-lasting durability. Standard printing typically uses dye-based inks and commercial paper stocks, which are suitable for everyday materials but not ideal for exhibition or long-term display. Giclée prints are specifically designed for artists, photographers and collectors who require premium quality and longevity.
The giclée printing process involves using high-resolution large-format printers, archival pigment inks and custom colour-managed workflows. Files are prepared with accurate colour profiles to ensure precise reproduction. The artwork is then printed on fine art cotton or textured papers, producing a museum-quality finish with exceptional detail and depth.
